As part of our Juneteenth Celebration, The Hermitage is hosting a FREE Genealogy workshop in partnership with the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society. The community is invited to attend a 2:00 pm session with Taneya Koonce with the Nashville Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, who will share her own journey and tips for researching African-American ancestry. This will be useful to those on all levels, from beginners to advanced researchers.

Following the talk, from 3:00-500 pm experts from AAHGS will offer individual consultations to answer your own specific research questions.

*For those that have already started their research, we advise you to come with as much prepared detail as you have, which will help the experts offer more specific help and advice.
