Kick off your Independence Day celebration and explore the revolutionary roots of Tennessee’s frontier settlers. Jackson was a child of the American Revolution, and its struggles and ideals shaped the rest of his life.
Visitors will get the chance to meet Revolutionary-Era frontiersmen and militia who fought against the British in the southern backcountry. You’ll also get the chance to hear from women on the homefront about their experiences and participation in the war. Finish up with the patriotic music and 18th-century games of Jackson’s childhood.
