Give to the Hermitage
The Hermitage depends on philanthropic contributions and bequests to continue our mission to preserve, educate and inspire Americans through the extraordinary life and times of the 7th President of the United States, Andrew Jackson. We are a not-for-profit organization and receive no on-going state or federal support for operations.
The Role of Philanthropy at The Hermitage
We greatly appreciate your contributions to The Hermitage.
Annual funding gifts are vital to the fiscal well being of our institution and provide for growth in education, preservation and public program opportunities. Estate gifts provide a legacy of support that endures across generations and strengthens our capacity for growth.
The Hermitage conducts periodic capital campaigns to finance specific brick and mortar renovations and projects and to build endowment. Some of these include:
• The mansion restoration
• Andrew Jackson Visitors Center
• Andrew Jackson: Born for a Storm exhibit
Our continued public projects are a direct result of the generous philanthropic contributions from innumerable individuals, foundations and corporations across the nation. We thank you for your support.
Disclaimer: The Andrew Jackson Foundation is incorporated under federal and state laws as a 501c (3) tax exempt organization and operates Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage on behalf of the State of Tennessee.
