Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage and Fleet Feet Mt. Juliet are proud to announce the 2nd annual 7th President 7k, a unique course set on the property that the nation’s 7th president once called home. The 7k will take runners across paved pathways and fields as they take in the rolling hills and beautiful landscape of The Hermitage property. Runners will get the chance to see Tulip Grove mansion, the home of Rachel Jackson’s nephew, as well as the Hermitage Church, completed in 1824 as a place for the neighborhood to worship. The race will end at the Hermitage mansion, the crown jewel of the property.

Registration for those 16 and older is $40 and $25 for those 15 and younger.
The first 300 registrants will be guaranteed a challenge coin and one Grounds Pass to Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, valid through December 31, 2023. Participants who register by October 4, 2023 will also receive a T-shirt.
Prizes will be awarded for the overall male and female winners.
Packets can be picked up at Fleet Feet Mt. Juliet (630 S. Mt. Juliet Road, Suite 320) on October 19 and 20 and at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage on race day.
Crunch Fitness will lead a warm-up/stretching exercise prior to the start of the race!

How can I find the route for the race course?

Will water stops be located along the route?
Yes, water stops will be available and are marked on the course map.
Where will port-a-pots be located?
Port-a-pots will be placed at the start area.
Are walkers allowed?
Walkers are allowed—and welcomed! If starting with the official start, walkers must go to the back of the start line.
Are strollers allowed?
Due to the uneven terrain of the course, strollers are not recommended.
Are dogs allowed?
For the safety of all participants, dogs are not allowed on the course. With a Grounds Pass to The Hermitage, included in your registration, dogs are welcome and free to walk, run and play while leashed on the site. Please bring bags to dispose of pet waste.
Are registration transfers or cancellations allowed?
All registrations are final. If the race is canceled for any reason, registration fees are considered a donation.
What happens in the case of rain or inclement weather?
The race will be held rain or shine. In the case of dangerous inclement weather, the start time may be delayed.
