Join us for a sunset wagon ride and exclusive after-hours access to the home of our 7th president! Tour the Mansion and experience “130 Years of Preservation,” featuring our President and CEO Howard J. Kittell and expert staff sharing stories and photographs from our behind-the-scenes preservation efforts since 1889. Guests can then enjoy live string music on the lawn, take a quiet evening stroll through the garden and historic outbuildings and hop onto a horse-drawn wagon for a tour of the landscape and enslaved community. Wine and cheese will be served.
Tickets are $25 for non-members and $20 for Hermitage members. The last wagon rides and tours of the Mansion will leave at 8 p.m. Admission does not include access to the museum or audio tours. If the event is rained out, the event will be rescheduled to Thursday, July 11.
