Members of The Hermitage are invited to enjoy a private, behind-the-glass tour of the mansion while it undergoes its latest preservation project: the installation of a state-of-the-art fire suppression system. During the tour, a small group of members will experience a behind-the-scenes look at the systems and strategies that aid in preserving and protecting the home of Andrew Jackson.
While exploring rarely seen areas of the mansion that make it the most-wired presidential home in the United States, members will be astonished at the level of planning and sophistication involved in protecting Jackson’s home and the Foundation’s priceless collection.
This event is FREE to members of The Hermitage, and space is limited.
The tour will be followed by hot cocoa and a special discount at The Hermitage Museum Store.
To RSVP for this event, send your name along with how many people to MNichols@thehermitage.com
