Update on Andrew & Rachel Jackson’s Tomb

Following an apparent act of vandalism of the tomb of President Andrew Jackson and his beloved wife Rachel in late April, we are happy to announce that the tomb has been restored to its original dignity and beauty. We want to thank everyone involved in this process, especially Chubb Insurance and CSOS, the restoration company.

The next step is to increase security on site, both with state-of-the-art technology and heightened security protocols to prevent this from happening in the future. We continue to seek funding for the new security measures and for those wishing to assist, please click the button below.
